Zella Jordan

Zella Marie Estelle Jordan, 84, of Hopewell, died Wednesday, September 21, 2005 in Henrico Doctors Hospital in Richmond. Mrs. Jordan was born in Willow Branch, Indiana and had made her home in the Hopewell area since 1983. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, a retired Licensed Practical Nurse, and a dedicated homemaker. Mrs. Jordan was the daughter of the late Claude Estelle, Sr. and Roxie Reeves Estelle and the widow of Rev. Dr. Garland Wayne Jordan. She was preceded in death by her sons, Jerry S. Jordan, Garland Wayne Jordan, Jr., Robert Lee Jordan, a sister, Juanita Armstrong and a brother Earl Estelle. Mrs. Jordan is survived by two daughters, Georgia Marie Rangel of Alexandria, VA, Juanita Jane Jordan Harder of Hopewell, one son, Melvin Lee Jordan of Milford, Indiana, two brothers, Forest Estelle of Douglas, Arizona and Claude Estelle, Jr. of Indianapolis, Indiana. A funeral service will be held Sunday, September 25, 2005 at 4:00PM in Wesley United Methodist Church with the Rev. Wayne Rickman pastor, officiating. The family will receive friends at the church, one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place Monday, September 26, 2005 at 2:00PM in Fairfax Memorial Park, Fairfax, Virginia.
