Zyan Delacruz

Reuben â??Zyanâ? Delacruz, Jr., age 28, of Richmond, VA, died on Friday, April 25, 2008. Born in Stamford, TX, he was the son of Reuben Delacruz, Sr. and Sue McKeehan Delacruz of Richmond. He was a talented guitar player and artist, and also collected horror movie memorabilia. Reuben worked in the concrete and construction industry since graduating high-school. Outside of his work and hobbies, he was the proud owner of several cats, Gizmo, Evil, Big Baby, Imp, and Smelly. He also cherished the memories of his pets who had passed before him, Miss. Wee Wee, Stubbs, Wormy, Whiskey Cat and Catcher, his dog. Zyan is also survived by his brothers, Coven Delacruz, and Seth Delacruz; sister, Chelsea Delacruz; his high-school sweetheart, Diane Patton, all of Richmond, VA; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins in Texas. A private service and cremation will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
