Franklin Delano Moneymaker Iii

Franklin Delano Moneymaker III, "Trey", 27, of Waverly, VA, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2023. Trey is survived by his loving wife, McKenzie Moneymaker; two daughters, Emery and Laken Moneymaker; parents, Frank Jr. and Rikki Moneymaker; brothers, Jaret (Haley) and Logan (MaKenna) Moneymaker; nephew, Ozzy Moneymaker (Logan); grandparents, Frank Sr. and Joyce Moneymaker; grandparents, Charlie and Marsha Barron; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, James "Shaker" and Brenda Winfield. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Trey was a graduate of Prince George County, and he was a proud employee of AdvanSix Hopewell. Trey was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, keeping a vegetable garden, and his true passion, running his hunting dogs. Trey was most proud to be the father of his two beautiful girls; he wore the title of "girl dad" with such pride. He adored spending every moment with them and loved it all - from painting nails, going to dance class, taking family trips, to teaching them everything he was passionate about - letting his tools be reorganized by little hands, working on vehicles together, outdoor projects at home, playing sports, and so much more. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at 6:30 PM, at Unity Baptist Church, 4951 Mt. Sinai Rd., Prince George, VA 23875.
